Sudharshan Narayanan
Bio

Sudharshan was born in the state of Kerala and raised in Chennai. With an insatiable passion for storytelling, he embarked on a journey that has led him to the forefront of the film industry. After completing his studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM University, Sudharshan’s creative spirit led him towards the world of Writing and Filmmaking. He honed his craft at Mindscreen Film Institute in Chennai, where he had the privilege of being mentored by the renowned filmmaker, Rajiv Menon.

Drawing from his extensive training, he has lent his talent to a myriad of projects, spanning from modest independent productions to grand-scale endeavours. He has ventured into diverse realms, showcasing his versatility in handling responsibilities across various capacities. His repertoire boasts a range of work, encompassing feature films, short films, TV commercials, and music videos.

With an unwavering commitment to his craft, he has made significant contributions to multiple film industries. He seamlessly transitions between the dynamic Tamil film industry, the world of advertising in Bombay, and the humble landscape of the Malayalam film industry. This vast industry experience has granted him a distinct edge over his contemporaries, giving him a profound understanding of storytelling nuances.

Driven by his passion for filmmaking, he has established his own production house, 4Isto3 Interactive. It serves as a creative hub where he gets to nurture innovative concepts and bring them to life through TV commercials and music videos.
His debut feature film, How to Not Have Sex, (Language: Hindi) is slated for release in 2026. An official Indian adaptation of a film by acclaimed filmmaker Richard Linklater, the project marks a significant milestone in his cinematic journey. The film will have its world premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival in May 2026, followed by screenings across multiple cities in the United States, including Austin and Los Angeles, signalling a promising global introduction to his voice as a filmmaker.
